Dr. Gilbert Trevino is in his 27 th year with Floydada Collegiate ISD, serving as superintendent for the last 14 years. He was previously a teacher, coach, assistant principal, and elementary principal for FCISD. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Wayland Baptist University, majoring in Physical Education and minoring in English as well as his Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership. He received his Superintendent Certification and Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University. Dr. Trevino is married to Laticia Trevino and together they have three children.
